Total Jordan promotes a strong safety and health culture at the workplace

Amman, May 4nd, 2010 – Total Jordan took part in the ‘World Safety Day” on Wednesday April 28th by providing all staff members with a full day of training on safety rules and regulations that aim to promote a strong safety and health culture at the workplace. 

Mr. Mutaz Nazzal, Operations Manager of Total Jordan, stated, “We are keen on organizing activities and trainings that draw attention to workplace hazards as the safety of every single employee at Total Jordan and their families is our first priority”.  

Mamoun Al Haddadein, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager of Total Jordan, stated, “We conduct training sessions for our employees throughout the year to ensure that their day to day activities are conducted in the safest and most secure manner.” 

It is worth mentioning that all Total Jordan service-stations are equipped and designed according to TOTAL’s international safety standards, maintaining public safety and with the aim of preserving the environment, by means of vapor recovery technology, multi-layered fuel tanks, and flexible filling pipes, specially-designed to contain petroleum derivatives.
