With Easter just around the corner, Middle East travellers are being lured by Switzerland’s top hotel, and the chance to explore one of the country’s most picturesque regions in all its splendour.

Springtime in the Lake Geneva area is an irresistible one for nature lovers, and the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, an increasingly popular location for getaway breaks, has come up with another tempting seasonal offer.

The hotel is offering special Easter rates from CHF375 (approx US$289) per night for a double room including breakfast and free use of the hotel’s Cinq Mondes spa and tennis courts, available from April 13 – 18.  Rooms for children begin at CHF235 (approx US$180), and includes a special children’s Easter activity programme.

Travellers from the Middle East will find that Lausanne’s location could hardly be more picturesque, particularly with springtime blossoms blooming, and the city looking out across one of Europe’s most beautiful panoramas of lake and mountain.

Just a short drive from the city centre, visitors will find an unspoiled countryside of woods, pastures and vineyards, while the mediaeval town centre, alive with small alleys, boutiques, and cafes, is a perfect setting for relaxing walks.

The reputation of the Beau-Rivage Palace as one of the world’s most romantic, and discreet, hotels, makes the Easter offer particularly attractive to honeymooners, and other couples, who can add to the occasion by booking a chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce for the 40-minute drive from Geneva Airport.

Middle East travellers interested in hearing more about this offer can e-mail the Beau Rivage Palace team at [email protected] or telephone + 41 21 613 3333. More information about the hotel and its facilities can also be found by visiting www.brp.ch
