Top Iranian nuclear chief cancels Pakistan visit in protest of Israeli links

Top Iranian nuclear chief Ali Larijani postponed an official visit Monday to Pakistan. The Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) reported that Larijani's visit to Pakistan has been postponed indefinitely without giving reasons.

According to Kuna, observers assess that the visit was postponed due to the recent policy shift of the Pakistani government towards Israel and last week's meeting between Pakistani foreign minister Khurshid Kasuri with his Israeli peer Silvan Shalom.

On Sunday, an Iranian official at the Iranian Foreign Ministry expressed his dismay towards Pakistan's step.
