Ticket number 3158221024 was announced as the winner of AED1 million in the Grand Draw of the 2005 Postcard Millionaire campaign. The draw, held on 3rd August at Lamcy Plaza, Dubai, brings to an end the 2005 Postcard Millionaire campaign, in the course of which 52 people won AED100,000 each in the weekly Wednesday draws.
Everyone who participated in the 2005 Postcard Millionaire campaign was automatically entered into Thursday’s Grand Draw for AED1 million. The winning number announcement came amid growing anticipation in the UAE.
While prize promotions are held regularly in the UAE, Postcard Millionaire has opened a whole new experience for its winners. Malayil Ebrahim Musliar (Ticket No. 5396090509), winner of draw one, used his winnings to pay off a medical loan and other debts, and to get his daughters married. Forty-four-year-old Jaggan Nath (Ticket No. 9341766152), a construction worker, saw a gentleman buying the pack during his afternoon break. He took his cue from the buyer and bought his own pack. The next day he got a call informing him that he was the winner of AED 100,000. Jaggan Nath plans are to pay his debts and return to India.
