Israeli police on Monday arrested an Israeli army career soldier, a Lebanese and an Israeli on suspicion of importing drugs with the intent to sell them, Haaretz reported Wednesday.
The three were found in possession of four kilograms of heroin that had been brought from Lebanon, the daily said.
Drug squad police officers were on a regular patrol of the Israel-Lebanon border near Metulla when they spotted a man in civilian clothes taking something from a Lebanese on the other side of the fence, the paper added - Albawaba.com
