Teenage boy stabs two women to death in Czech Republic

ALBAWABA - Police in the Czech Republic confirmed that a stabbing attack took place inside a shop when a 16-year-old boy killed two women on Thursday morning.

According to the police in the country, the motive behind the knife attack is unknown till this moment and an investigation is still underway.

Local media reported that the teenager, who is a Czech national, was arrested by the police, minutes after committing his crime in a shopping area on the outskirts of Hradec Kralove, around 100 kilometres from the capital, Prague.

In detail, authorities revealed that the women killed in the knife attack were a shop assistant at the counter and another worker.

"Both of those attacked suffered injuries which were so serious that they could not be saved despite all efforts of the rescuers," according to the police's X post.

"We are currently looking into the attacker's motives," police added.

The country's PM Petr Fiala expressed condolences to the families of the victims, calling the murders "an incomprehensible, horrendous act".
