Tanmia, the National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority, has announced that it participated recently in the Abu Dhabi Women's College Open Day. The event served as a venue to highlight Tanmia's enormous contributions to the national development process, while continuing the organisation's mission of facilitating employment and career development opportunities for UAE nationals.
Students and graduates of Abu Dhabi Women's College attended the day-long event, which gathered a number of organisations seeking to scout future employee prospects from among the high-potential students or reinforce their human resources with fresh top-flight graduates.
"Tanmia aims to create job opportunities for the graduates and help students optimise their career prospects and choose a more rewarding career path,” said Feddah Lootah, Acting General Manager, Tanmia. “This will ultimately result in reducing the unemployment ratio, while enhancing the skills and productivity of the national workforce. Tanmia is always on the lookout for opportunities to realise our objectives; the Abu Dhabi Women's College Open Day is certainly another platform towards realising our goals,” she added.
The Abu Dhabi Women's College Open Day is a platform where employers can meet with students of the college and discuss job and career-enhancement opportunities. Exhibiting organisations are given opportunities to outline their products and services, assisting students and graduates in choosing the appropriate career path in their chosen professions.
