Syria's President Bashar al-Assad issued Sunday law No. 20 for the year 2003 which states the setting up of a general establishment, named as "the General Establishment for the Civil Aviation".
The new body will enjoy financial and administrative independence and will be related to the Ministry of Transport, SANA reported.
