Cuban President Fidel Castro received in the capital city of Havana Friday Syrian Vice President, Dr. Mohammad Zouheir Masharqa.
Discussions focused on issues of bilateral interest, especially conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories in wake of the Israeli ongoing aggressions, conditions in Latin America as well as in the Caribbean, according to the official Syrian Arab News Agency.
President Castro reiterated Havana's support for Damascus in its struggle to liberate the Golan Heights and in its search for just and comprehensive peace. (Albawaba.com)
