Syrian President Bashar Assad will visit Egypt “in the coming days” for talks with his Egyptian counterpart Hosni Mubarak on the latest situation in the Middle East, reported the daily Al Ahram on Saturday.
The paper said that Assad’s talks with Mubarak “are part of continuous consultations between the two countries to find ways to end Israel’s aggression against the Palestinians.”
