According to Reuters, a source close to the Geneva peace talks said Saturday that if Russia stops it airstrikes, then the Syrian opposition will agree to a two to three week ceasefire.
All parties except Daesh will support the renewable truce, the source added.
Moscow has been conducting airstrikes since last September, saving Syrian President Bashar Assad’s forces and turning the tide in the president’s favor after months of military gains by the opposition, Reuters reported.
