Syria’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Farouk Al-Sharaa received Sunday evening a phone call from Lebanese Foreign Minister Mahmoud Hammoud.
Talks focused on the latest developments and the situation in the region, according to the Syrian Arab news agency. In addition, Al-Sharaa received a phone call from the head of the political department of the Palestine Liberation organization.
Discussions between the two centered on the latest developments in the region, especially in the Palestinian arena, in wake of the “persistence of Israeli aggression against the disarmed Palestinian people”, SANA concluded. (Albawaba.com)
