Syria’s Deputy Prime Minister and foreign minister, Farouk al-Shara arrived in Tanager for a two-day official visit to Morocco, the Syrian Arab news agency reported Monday.

In a statement upon his arrival, al-Shara said that he was conveying a message from President Bashar al-Assad to King Mohammad VI on the developments in the region and the Arab situation, in general. Al-Shara asserted that during his visit, he would review with his Moroccan counterpart means of developing bilateral ties between Damascus and Rabat in all fields, SANA added.

He stressed the Arab coordination for improving the situation in general and for achieving Arab solidarity, in particular in this delicate stage, where Israel is committing the “most brutal aggression against the defenseless Palestinian people”. (Albawaba.com)
