Syrian First Lady Tours Egypt

Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad's wife, accompanied by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's wife, toured the Egyptian capital city of Cairo Wednesday and visited such sites as the Mubarak's Public Library at Al-Jizza, the Cairo Library in Zamalik, Oum Kalthoum Museum in the Nile region, the Nile water-level-measurement site in Al-Rawdha, Al-ministerly Palace and the Pyramids in Al-Jizza, according to SANA. 

 

The Syrian First Lady was briefed about the various sites, their structures, equipment, pavilions and contents. 

 

Moreover, she was given a historic explanation on the Pyramids as well as other archaeological sites in Al-Jizza. 

 

Mrs. Al-Assad received a souvenir representing the emblem of the National Council of women in Egypt, SANA added. (Albawaba.com)
