The ninth round of the Mediterranean European Partnership talks between Syria and the European Union (EU) began Monday in the Belgian capital of Brussels.
In a statement to SANA, Head of the Syrian Delegation, the International Planning Organization Chief, Dr. Twafeek Ismaeil, said these meetings were expected to deal with the exchange of industrial and agricultural goods and cooperation in these fields.
In addition, he stressed that both sides would discuss encouraging European investments in Syria, and the movement of capitals between them.
With regards to political dialogue about social and cultural affairs, Dr. Ismaeil said that the Syrian side has a text corresponding to the European proposed text, SANA added. (Albawaba.com)
