The Syrian Council of Ministers, in a session chaired by Premier Mohammad Naji Ottri on Monday, congratulated President Bashar al-Assad and the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, a three-day holiday that follows the fasting month of Ramadan.
According to SANA, the Cabinet ratified a draft law on evading double taxation and the fighting of tax evasion signed with Ukraine. It also approved other draft laws on improving work and performance at the national banks.
The Premier stressed the need to rationing consumption and fight unnecessary expenditures to spare enough resources for carrying out the state plans, development and services programs.
