Syria, Russia sign oil protocol

A cooperation protocol in the field of oil between Syria and Russia was signed in the capital of Moscow Saturday, according to SANA news agency.  

 

The protocol includes both sides’ desire to establish a joint Syrian-Russian company in the sphere of drilling, to work outside Syria, the agency added.  

 

Providing Syria with oil instruments and machines and the possibility of setting up a Syrian-Russian technical center as well as cooperation in the field of training cadres were also discussed. Earlier, the Syrian delegation visited several oil and gas companies and was briefed on Russian techniques in the field of oil and gas. (Albawaba.com)
