Syrian security forces raided a hideout of members of the "terrorist" organization called "Jund al-Sham" in Hama, northwestern Syria Friday evening, an official source at the Syrian Interior Ministry stated Saturday.
“A clash took place between our forces and the terrorists during which all five members of the group were killed and two security men were wounded ,” the source said, according to SANA.
The source clarified that the group had taken an isolated house, in Jibrin village, as a base for their moves and operations. “Our forces found in that place weapons, bombs and explosives belonging to that group,” the source added.
The group was about to carry out "terrorist attacks to destabilize security and stability of the Syrian society," the announcement noted.
