Upon the conclusion of the ninth session of the negotiations of the European Mediterranean Partnership between Syria and the European Union (EU), the Chairman of the State Planning Commission and Head of the negotiating Syrian delegation, Dr. Tawfiq Ismail emphasized Wednesday that the negotiations were “serious”.
In a statement to a SANA correspondent in Brussels, Dr. Ismail said that the Syrian tangible and constructive suggestions attracted the attention and care of the European side who presented serious and positive ideas.
The last day of the two days of negotiations dealt with industrial and agricultural cooperation between the two sides.
The Syrian and European cooperation includes means of European Union aid in the fields of economics and agriculture, training , assistance in building industrial infrastructure, developing industrial and agricultural chambers and transforming technology, the news agency added. (Albawaba.com)
