An alleged accomplice in the 9/11 attacks in the United States, Said Bahaji, has recently contacted his family in Morocco, according to a German magazine report.

28-year-old Bahaji, who holds a double German and Moroccan nationality, made a short phone call to his family in mid-August, Focus weekly reported in its edition to be published Monday.

According to the magazine, Bahaji briefly spoke with his father who lives in Meknes, Morocco.

"He said he was doing well and we should not worry about him," the father, Abdallah Bahaji, told the weekly.

According to his father, Bahaji had not mentioned where he was calling from, but said "everything was going to be in order soon" and he was "in good hands". (Albawaba.com)
