Hatta residents still have one more weekend (8th and 9th of July) to take advantage of the amazing line up of free edutainment and sports activities offered as part of this summer's 'Me & My Family' initiative. Developed under the direct supervision of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, 'Me & My Family' was created to bring fun and excitement to children and families living in the Emirate during its hot summer months.
This weekend, parents living in Hatta should definitely take advantage of the mobile inflatable tent and encourage their children to trade off computers and television for exciting sports and entertaining activities. Each of the activities inside the tent has been carefully selected to being children together, improve social skills and increase physical activity.
Since it kicked off on June 13th, 'Me & My Family' has successfully brought summer fun to thousands of residents across the Emirate. The mobile inflatable tent, filled with numerous fun and educational activities including slides and bouncy castles, magic shows, cartoon and puppet shows and face painting (to name a few), will move to Al Hibab on the 11th of July 2010 and finally end its journey in Al Lysely on the 25th of July.
Me & My Family is organized in cooperation with Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) and Dubai Municipality as strategic partners, and with the support of Dubai Civil Defence Department, Dubai Ambulance Services and Dubai Police.
