Summer Health Festival starts awareness campaign during DSS
The Summer Health Festival has opened its first week of awareness campaign at BurJuman and Times Square Center for the first two weeks of DSS. Exceptional Healthcare Solutions (ExHealth), in conjunction with Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), has rolled out the programme to create awareness on health and wellbeing. According to Dr. Prem Jagyasi, CEO of ExHealth, “We believe that the public should be conscious on how to achieve good health. Thus, we want to extend our knowledge in helping them realize healthy lifestyle through our activities in the Summer Health Festival.”
“We know that more and more people visit the malls because of the ongoing DSS promotions. Because of this, we are confident that the campaign will be successful in reaching huge number of people,” Dr. Jagyasi added.
Summer Health Festival involves different themes every two weeks. At present, the theme “Healthy Eating” is being featured in BurJuman and Times Square Center from June 11 to June 24. Various activities are scheduled from 10am-10pm every day of the festival. Visitors can join the healthy coloring competition, quiz competition, on-the-spot creations and golf game for little ones, and they can win surprising prizes. Free counselling by nutrition experts and diet counselors, and a daily workshop to demonstrate select health recipes and diet plans are also part of the programme. Well-known chefs will also drop by to contribute to the healthy food festival.
The other themes will be “Physical Fitness”, “Beautiful You”, “Hygiene” and “Free Check-up”. These themes will continue in other participating malls as each shopping venue will host the festival for one week. For more information, log on to www.summerhealthfestival.com.
