At least four people were reportedly killed and another 22 injured on Tuesday by a suicide bombing in Iraqi capital Baghdad.

The bomber blew himself up near a group of workers in central Baghdad, killing four civilians and injuring 22 others, an Interior Ministry source told Anadolu Agency.

The Iraqi army's Baghdad Operations Command confirmed the bombing in a statement, but provided no details regarding casualties.

There has as yet been no claim of responsibility for Tuesday's attack.

Baghdad has been ravaged by a spate of suicide bombings in recent months, for which the authorities have blamed the Daesh group.
