ALBAWABA- A Sudanese military Antonov aircraft crashed in the Al-Thawra area, Harat 75, in Omdurman, resulting in the deaths of several senior officers and crew members, according to local sources. 

A fire broke out at the back of the plane shortly after takeoff from Wadi Saydna in Omdurman, causing it to crash within minutes. 

The incident claimed the lives of several senior Sudanese army officers and three civilians. The crash was reportedly caused by a technical failure.

 Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the incident.
