ALBAWABA - At least 33 people were killed in separate drone attacks targeting markets in Sudan, a medical source reported on Sunday.

More than 40,000 have been killed during the three-year war in Sudan, the U.N. estimates, though the true number is believed to be far higher.

Over 21 million people face acute food insecurity, with famine confirmed or looming in several regions.

The war in Sudan began on 15 April 2023 between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
