Syria must do more to stop "terrorists" slipping across its border into Iraq and attacking coalition forces, British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said Tuesday night.

Saddam Hussein loyalists still posed the greatest threat to the United States-led force, Straw told members of Parliament.

“All the (Iraqi) borders are relatively porous,” the British minister said. “But the best evidence we have suggests the real area of concern comes from Syria. “And I make it clear we look to Syria to do much more.”
