Fashion brand Stradivarius was shortlisted for the recent Clothing and Fashion Accessories award at MAPIC 2006 held in Cannes in France this month.
MAPIC, which began in 1993, is the annual international market for retail real estate, where more than 1,500 retailers meet over three days and showcase new concepts and developments, discover new trends and seek to develop in the international arena.
Each year MAPIC holds awards to celebrate the most dynamic retailers for their international development, across several categories, including Clothing Fashion and Accessories, Leisure, Services, and Electrical Goods, Catering and Healthy and Beauty. Stradivarius was the only UAE nominee in their category.
Commenting on the nomination, Stradivarius brand manager Jean-Michel Bolly said, “Stradivarius is thrilled to have been nominated for this award which has important industry standing worldwide, and our UAE parent company, Dubai Holding Group is particularly proud to have represented the Emirates in this way”.
