STC wins king Abdulaziz quality award
His Excellency Abdullah bin Ahmed Zainal Alireza, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization and head of the Higher Committee of the King Abdulaziz Quality Award, has announced that Saudi Telecommunications Company is the first time winner of the newly instituted award.
An initiative of the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO), the King Abdulaziz Quality Award (KAQA) is presented to the candidate achieving the highest number of points in meeting the criteria set by the organization, which are: excellence of administrative management; most effective strategic planning; best recruitment of human resources, implementing best practices in managing vendors, partners and operational business; attention to customer services; effectiveness of information and information analysis systems, the company’s influence on society; and, finally, the company’s business results.
KAQA is an exclusively national award that is decided solely by SASO, the Kingdom’s official organization for measurement and assessment of quality standards in commerce and industry.
STC adds KAQA to its range of prestigious awards presented for excellence in the field of quality systems and programs, such as the company’s recent program of converting all its administrative systems to electronic processes, utilizing state-of-the-art technology in order to best serve its customers.
