SOFEX to Partner with the Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis (INEGMA) to Organize its Official 2010 Conference

 

The official SOFEX 2010 Conference, which will be held on May 10th in Amman, Jordan, will be organized, for the fifth consecutive time in partnership with the Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis (INEGMA).

This announcement was made on the sidelines of the 9th International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2009), one of the largest tri-service defense exhibitions in the world, where SOFEX began networking with the world's most prominent exhibitors and delegates, as well as received confirmations from major national pavilions that have already expressed their intent to expand their participation at the 8th edition of the SOFEX series that will be held from May 10th-13th, 2010.

INEGMA will work alongside the Jordanian Special Operations Command and SOFEX to identify and invite top-level military speakers for this VIP conference. The conference will provide a platform for dialogue, sharing strategies and experiences where senior government decision-makers and security analysts will speak about a wide range of issues pertinent to global defense, homeland security and Special Operations. 

The SOFEX 2008 “Middle East Special Operations Commanders Conference” attracted 750 participants consisting of high ranking military and government delegations, representing 58 countries from around the world, for a one day conference on the current global issues and trends concerning Special Operations and Homeland Security.
