Jerusalem was still "snowed-in" Monday, with many residents still without power due to last week's blizzard, according to the Associated Press.
Many of the city's roads remained covered with snow and ice, as well as downed trees, and only minimal public transportation is working. Over half the city, approximately 8,000 homes, are still without power.
Israel has eased border restrictions into the territory to allow more fuel and related supplies in response to the crisis, but many families who are still stranded are facing dire conditions.
Schools and government buildings throughout the occupied territories are starting to open slowly, with the exception of Jerusalem where the city is almost completely shut down.
