Reuters reports that Slovenia is offering resources and training to the anti-Daesh coalition.

According to Radio Slovenia, the government is reviewing a plan to train Kurdish soldiers in the Iraqi city of Erbil and provide weapons to coalition members. The plan is set to be approved on Wednesday.

Slovenia has been a major entry point for asylum seekers traveling into Europe. In October, the country increased military control at the Croatian border and asked the EU for administrative help in processing the thousands of people entering daily.

This is Slovenia's first move toward military action against Daesh.
