Skandia international adds five invesco funds to its lineup
Following demand from overseas advisers, Skandia International has added five Invesco funds to its fund range, further diversifying the breadth of choice available for international investors. Invesco Asset Management Limited, part of Invesco Ltd, one of the largest independent investment management organisations, has an office at the Dubai International Financial Centre.

The five funds listed below from Invesco are being launched as part of Skandia International’s continuing development across its fund ranges. Over the coming months Skandia International will continue to broaden its investment proposition, in line with demand from its markets, in a bid to bulk up offerings from around the globe. The Invesco funds kick off the project with a focus on Asia Pacific.

Four of the five launches bring a more eclectic mix of investment options for advisers and their clients. Demand for types of investment differs throughout the international markets so it is important to act quickly. The five funds are:

• Invesco Asia Balanced
• Invesco PRC Equity
• Invesceo Asia Consumer Demand
• Invesco Asia Infrastructure
• Invesco Emerging Local Currency Debt
Nick Tolchard, managing director of Invesco’s International Development Division, explains:

"While Asia certainly felt the tremors of the global financial crisis and saw sharp declines in export demand from the West, we are increasingly optimistic that the long-term growth prospects for the region have not been derailed. Consumer spending and infrastructure expenditure are expected to support further gains in Asian equities, particularly within China."

Steve Ellis, head of investment proposition at Skandia International said:

“It’s important to offer funds that are relevant to investors and advisers around the globe.  We’re committed to ensuring that the funds we offer cover a diverse range of countries, markets and asset classes and these five Invesco funds add a new dimension to our proposition.”
