At least six people were killed when members of two families attacked each other Saturday in a village near the Taj Mahal town of Agra, the police here said.
Five of those killed belonged to one family who were gunned down in their home in the village of Varthala, a police spokesman said and added that one of the attackers was also killed.
An unspecified number of others were injured in the fighting which had erupted over rivaling election sympathies, police said -- AGRA, India (AFP)
