Six bodies of Indian nationals have been recovered after two boats were hit by airstrikes off the coast of Yemen, the Associated Press reported Friday.

The Indian foreign ministry said one person is still missing.

It is unclear who conducted the airstrikes, the AP said. But Yemeni coast guard officials on Tuesday said the Saudi-led coalition attacked at least five boats off the coast.

The boats carrying 21 Indian seamen were struck in the waters between Somalia and Yemen on Tuesday. Fourteen of the men were saved, the ministry said in a statement.
