Sisi: Egyptian-Kuwaiti Cooperation Keep Regional Peace

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi affirmed that Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation is a vital part of continued regional stability, during his meeting with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, at the sidelines of the Jeddah Summit for Security and Development.

Sisi also affirmed Egypt’s keenness to closely coordinate with Kuwait towards developments in the Middle East as a  major priority for Egyptian policy.

According to the spokesperson for Egypt’s presidency, Sisi also stressed Egypt’s keenness to develop close and distinguished cooperation between the two countries in an effort to consolidate regional security, stability.

Crown Prince al-Sabah on his end affirmed the appreciation that Kuwait feels for Egypt due to the depths of the two nation’s historical relations. He also noted the important role of the Egyptian community in the construction and development process in Kuwait.


The crown prince stressed Kuwait’s eagerness to further cooperating with Egypt, and periodically consult and coordinate with it on various issues.

The Crown Prince praised Egypt’s pivotal role in the region as a mainstay for the security and stability of the Arab world, in addition to its keenness to strengthen solidarity among Arab countries and push forward the bonds of joint Arab action.
