The number of dead in Thursday's bombings in Sinai who were positively identified as Israelis rose to 11 on Sunday, after six bodies were identified by Israeli experts with samples of DNA. However, two Israelis were still missing and therefore it is believed that at least 13 Israelis have been killed in the attacks. All in all, 33 people killed - 29 in Taba and three in Ras al-Satan, Haaretz reported.
Israeli officials said Sunday that rescue workers were struggling to determine the exact number of Israelis killed in the bombing attacks.
The large number of body parts, as well as the badly damaged state of the bodies are making it difficult to determine the accurate number of fatalities.
Experts have identified six Egyptians and six tourists from Russia and Italy as victims of the bombings.
Meanwhile, a British paper reported Sunday that a female suicide bomber was believed to have participated in the attack on Taba hotel.
According to Israeli and Egyptian military officials, quoted by the Telegraph, said the woman, whose decapitated body was found at the back of the hotel, is thought to have been acting with two other suspected bombers who rammed explosive-laden cars into the front of the Hilton hotel.
