Three Syrian shells struck the northern Jordanian city of Al Ramtha on Thursday, killing one person and injuring three others, reports al-Ghad news.
Governor Badr Alqady announced the 23-year-old man was killed by a projectile while passing through shops in Ramtha. Despite being immediately rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The three shells struck a house, an empty school, and vacant land near a medical clinic, respectively.
Residents of Ramtha, located just a few kilometers from Daraa, have been reporting that there homes are shaking from the heavy fighting between the Free Syrian Army and Syrian government forces.
