Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defence Minister, received Saturday Burkhard Goeschel of BMW, Emirates’ official news agency (WAM) reported.
Goeschel briefed Sheikh Mohammad on an innovation that enables their engines to run on hydrogen rather than fuel.
Khalifa Mohammad Ahmed, the Director of Dubai’s Ruler’s Court, was quoted by WAM as saying that the BMW team explained that their solar energy project was environmentally friendly.
For his part, Sheikh Mohammad welcomed BMW’s ideas because of his keen interest in the environment.
