ALBAWABA - In a series of bombing attacks in the far south of Thailand, two people were killed and four others were injured. The blasts hit the Yarang district of Pattani province on Monday night as security forces patrolled the area.
"Two are confirmed dead and four others were wounded in the blast," Pattani governor Pateemoh Sadeeyamu told AFP news agency.
According to local media reports the first blast targeted a police car and was followed by several more hitting electric poles in the area. The governor said an investigation into the attacks was underway.
