SEI, a leading global provider of outsourced asset management, investment processing and investment operations solutions, has announced today that it has strengthened its Global Private Banking Team with the appointment of Stephen Barbalaco as Sales Director for the EMEA region.
Stephen, who will be based in London, will report to Brandon Sharrett, Managing Director of SEI’s Global Private Banking business in the EMEA region. He will be responsible for the sales and marketing effort of SEI’s asset management solution, provided through SEI’s Manager-of-Managers investment process, developing strategic partnerships with Private Banks and Family Offices in the EMEA region.
Stephen brings a wealth of sales, marketing and client service experience to his new role. Prior to joining SEI, he spent two years as Head of Sales Strategy, Client Relationships, Marketing and Transitions for Mphasis BFL – a business process outsourcing firm based in Bangalore. Previous to that Stephen held the position of Business Development for the Equity Derivatives business at Cantor Fitzgerald in London and also held senior sales position in the asset management and wealth management divisions at Citigroup in New York, Milan, Madrid and London. Responsibilities in his last role spanned across the EMEA region.
