Jafza recently awarded a select group of officials from Dubai Police and security solutions provider World Security in recognition of their commitment to continuous quality management and improvement of the security services and operations at the free zone.
Talal Al Hashimi, Managing Director UAE Region Jafza distributed trophies and certificates to officials from Dubai Police – Bur Dubai Station, Dubai Police – Jebel Ali Station, the Jebel Ali Security Department and the Department of Naturalisation and Residency Dubai (DNRD) for their efforts in enhancing security at the Jebel Ali free Zone.
The Jebel Ali Free Zone working together with the Dubai Police and World Security maintains detailed security measures to protect the interests of its tenants including advanced surveillance infrastructure, marine security solutions, events management, traffic management, dedicated security gates and roads network, 24 x 7 safety and security cover for all within Jafza.
Commenting on the environment at the free zone Talal Al Hashimi said: "Security continues to be a top priority for us. Recent security measures at the free zone include the implementation of RF ID tag, E-Token System, expansion of Gate 4 with 8 entry lanes and 8 exit lanes, dedicated facility near Gate 3 for Customs and Dubai Municipality inspection area with X-ray feasibilities, third party transport security and safety awareness programme, shipping companies free zone and port use awareness program and a Supply Chain Logistics Security Management System implemented for faster and more secure movement of goods and services with security.
