ALBAWABA - A horrific accident was reported in Indonesia on Monday, where at least one student was killed and 99 others were injured in a school collapse in the East Java town. 

Authorities revealed that the death toll is expected to increase as 65 others are likely still under the rubble, with workers racing time to rescue them.

According to The Guardian, a building at Al Khoziny Islamic boarding school in the East Java town of Sidoarjo collapsed while students were praying.

Indonesian rescue personnel, police and soldiers were able to rescue eight injured students during the night.

Media sources revealed that rescuers are running oxygen and water to those who are still trapped more than 12 hours later after the collapse of the school.
