Sayegh Group Launches a New Production Line


Sayegh Brothers for Engineering Industries Company, recently operated new production lines for recycling scrap copper. These lines are amongst the most important activities the Company introduced in its factories. Activities of this nature have been effective in supporting industries that rely on raw copper. In conformity with to the continued rise in copper prices, Sayegh Group initiated an effective solution to this social concern by introducing these new additions to its factories.


The new production lines have ovens for melting scrap copper of all shapes and forms. The copper is being processed with innovative devices equipped with built in examining mineral rates. The raw material will be produced as plates or ingots. 

 

The new technical development also consists of “Continuous Casting” for wherein withdrawal.  Copper bars will be produced in many forms: circular, hexagonal and many shapes used in industries depending on copper.   

Commenting on the launch of the new production lines, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sayegh Group, Mr. Michael Sayegh said, “We, at Sayegh Group, are proud to introduce the new production lines. With the continuous rise of copper prices in the world, we are committed to manufacture our own products with the international standards and affordable prices, since copper is used in many industries. Given the importance of copper in the Jordanian industry, we feel that it is our duty to contribute to the economic development of the country”.


Through commissioning the said lines, Sayegh Group supplied copper according to special standards to the Union Locks Company, a subsidiary of Sayegh Group. It also supplied circular copper bars to Jordan Copper Fixtures Manufacturing Company and to Sayegh Brothers for Engineering Industries according to special standards. This helps in the production of the main product (water mixers) of which copper is the main substance.
