Sayegh Group Donates JD 50,000 to King Abdullah II Fund

As part of its on going aims to play a pivotal role in the growth of the community, Sayegh Group recently announced its donation of JD 50 thousand, to the King Abdullah ll’s fund for Poverty Development Pocket Initiative. The donation was made towards the second phase of teachers’ housing project, a project geared towards supporting low-income earning households to improve their living conditions and provide them with good quality housing units.
 
This initiative aims to fight poverty in the kingdom, as well as to improve their wages in order to achieve social solidarity between the various segments of the Jordanian society.

To thank the group for their generous contribution, Chief of the Royal Court Mr. Basem Awadallah delivered an appraisal letter to Sayegh Group Board Chairman Mr. Micheal Al-Sayegh from his Majesty King Abdullah II for the group’s initiative. –Continued-

Commenting on the donation and the initiative, Mr. Micheal Al-Sayegh said, “We at Sayegh Group are honored to be contributing to the social and economical advancement of the local community. This donation is our way of reiterating our sense of belonging to Jordan, as we believe that teachers are catalysts for molding progressive minds, and this is why we are happy to contribute to their quest for securing better living conditions. The teachers of today are responsible for shaping the leaders of tomorrow, and are an indispensable part of this community”.

Over the years, Sayegh Group has contributed to several community initiatives. Just recently, its mother company National Paints had signed an agreement with the Greater Amman Municipality through which it will provide the latter with paint products used for repainting the Al Hussein District.
