A Saudi pilot was killed after his helicopter crashed during a training mission in Taif and five troops died in border fire from Yemen, according to AFP.
The kingdom’s military officials confirmed the deaths in a statement Sunday. Five soldiers were killed in the southwest border region of Najran while the chopper pilot died due to a technical fault, AFP reports.
Saudi Arabia is leading a coalition of Arab states against Houthi fighters in Yemen.
