Saudi-Pakistani joint military exercises, conducted in the Cholistan desert of Pakistan, have concluded, officials said.
Vice Chief of the Army Staff of Pakistan Army General Ahsan Saleem Hayat visited the area of the exercises, the first-ever between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, and praised the troops' professionalism, according to <i>SPA</i> news agency.
Chief of Operations of the Royal Saudi Army Maj-Gen Ali Zaid Khawaji accompanied General Hayat, who stressed the need for such military exercises.
