Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd has returned home to the Kingdom from the Spanish resort of Marbella after an absence of four and a half months, the official SPA news agency reported Saturday.
Fahd, who suffered a stroke in 1995, left the Saudi kingdom on May 20. He reached the capital late Friday.
He had undergone cataract surgery in Switzerland after arriving in May at his lakeside mansion at Collonge-Bellerive, near Geneva. Accompanied by about 400 aides, family and household staff, he moved on August 14 to Marbella, where the Sauds maintain a huge property. (Albawaba.com)
