Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Al-Faisal is to hold talks in the Egyptian capital of Cairo on Tuesday as diplomatic activity increases to try to resolve the Iraqi crisis, Arab diplomats said Saturday.
"It's part of the framework of consultations underway on the situation in Iraq and the coordination of Saudi and Egyptian efforts," one diplomat said, cited by AFP.
Meanwhile, Jordanian Prime Minister Ali Abu Ragheb was expected to arrive in the Saudi Kingdom Saturday night for talks on Iraq and a Turkish call for a regional summit on the war threat, Amman's ambassador told the news agency. (Albawaba.com)
