Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, received at his office in the Red Sea port city of Jeddah on Saturday General Tommy Franks, Commander of the US Central Command.
In the course of the meeting, they discussed issues of mutual concern to both countries, according to Kuwait’s news agency.
General Franks arrived in Jeddah from Kuwait, where he was decorated by the Kuwaiti Emir with a first degree honorary medal in appreciation for his distinctive services, sincerity in carrying out his duties as well as in appreciation for his extensive military capabilities, the agency added.
