Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, received at the Salam Palace in the port city of Jeddah on Wednesday Syrian Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister, Farouk al-Shara.
In the course of the meeting, Shara conveyed a message from President Bashar Al-Assad to Prince Abdullah regarding the latest developments in the region and the necessity of strengthening the Arab stance in face of the challenges facing all Arabs, according to SANA news agency.
In this regard, Shara stressed the importance of Arab solidarity in this critical stage in the framework of a comprehensive Arab vision of the Arab interest as a whole, and the rejection of exploitation methods being practiced against Arab states, SANA added.
Both sides highlighted the necessity of mobilizing Arab efforts for the interest of the central cause relating to ending the Israeli occupation of all Arab occupied lands and the restoration of all the Palestinian legitimate rights.
Attending the meeting were Deputy Foreign Minister, Suleiman Haddad, and Head of the Syrian mission to Jeddah, Majeddudin Nashed. (Albawaba.com)
